Marguerite, you have to get a computer! You must be joking, if some of this modern stuff has more than two moving parts, I couldn't figure it out. I never trusted an adding machine unless it had paper to prove it knew what it was doing. Fifty years in the apparel business and do believe we were the last ones in the civilized world to get a fax machine and after many years still do not trust it to feed all the pages through so I scotch tape them 'into one long strip ... works fine for me. E-mail, forget it! User friendly, all of this modern high tech stuff hates me and the feeling is mutual.

When I was young (what a memory) I did a great deal of flying. I said to an older friend Soddy (her name was Sarabeth and the wife of a great radio announcer in days of yore ... Bud Heyde) I want to teach you how to fly an airplane. She replied, are you joking? I have not even mastered the horse and buggy yet! I now know where she was coming from.

What is this Web stuff? A WEB is something that was made in the comer of your basement by cute little spiders and when they worked their way upstairs to the corners of your living room and where they got thick enough you sprayed them gold at Christmas time. Thenthere is ONLINE ... is that not where you hang clothes to dry? A three year old idiot would know that WINDOWS are what you look out of. A MOUSE was usually in the basement with the WEBS, and he would also sometimes work his way upstairs, sometimes to his great misfortune. No one needs me to tell us what a DRIVER is, be it horse and buggys or cars, or a PROVIDER , most fathers were goodones, even with six kids and Mom staying home. Wasn't Christopher Columbus an EXPLORER and HARDWARE you got at the corner store. A DISK you used to soften the ground before you planted crops. The VIRUS caused chicken pox and we were happy to see it as then we did not have to go to school. I could go on and on but will not do it just now because guess what?, I got a computer and a few lessons and now it's EINSTEIN, move over! Not only did I end up getting two more but even bought some Stock in the company that made them, sold it just right and made enough to pay for thecomputers ... as I said we older folks are fairly bright, and young folks are even using our words... TO BE CONTINUED ....
